During a roundtable meeting with executives of leading Chinese high-tech companies in Shanghai, officials held a ceremony to exchange signed commercial agreements on Wednesday. According to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in China, over 70 commercial documents were signed during the visit, with a combined value exceeding 15 billion U.S. dollars.
Digital computing and power supporting infrastructure are being advanced in tandem. The Kazakh side has underscored that stable power supply is a core guarantee for data project operations.
Cooperation between new-energy transport and supporting power infrastructure is gaining pace. Kazakhstan signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chinese automaker Geely Auto Group to jointly develop electric vehicle infrastructure, and an Industrial Cooperation Agreement with Chinese automaker Li Auto Inc. on implementing a Li Auto vehicle production project in Kazakhstan.
Nuclear energy cooperation has also moved forward. Earlier, Chairman of Kazakhstan's Atomic Energy Agency Almassadam Satkaliyev paid a working visit to Beijing, where he held bilateral meetings with China's National Energy Administration and China's Atomic Energy Authority and China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) .The two sides discussed nuclear industry regulation, nuclear and radiation safety, improving the legal framework, and training qualified personnel. They committed to leverage existing mechanisms to advance key cooperative projects.
